Short track

Short track is another competitive form of ice skating. Unlike speed skating, in short track the athletes race against each other and are not looking for a performance against the clock. The race takes place on an indoor track 111,12 metres in length and between 3 and 9 competitors are involved.

The age category of the skater will be defined as the skaterโ€™s age prior to 1st July of the year of the event. Each skater has to compete in her/ his respective age category.
Age categories may be combined dependent upon the number of entries in each age group, but medals will be awarded
according to the registration categories.

Open (Mixed Gender) Relay 3000 m under the following conditions:
– All final system
– Mixed Gender and Country
– Skaters can only take part in one team
– Medals will be awarded according to the Division.
Additional one Division B Relay Mixed 2000 m.
Teams per Member consisting of 4 skaters (female and/or men).
Teams may be combined at the team leader meeting the day before the competition. Age categories may be combined depending upon the number of entries in each age group

In the next edition of World Winter Master Games Lombardia 2024, will participate thousands of athletes coming from all over the world. Several sport disciplines in which over thirty will compete in exciting challenges: alpine ski, biathlon, cross country ski, curling, figure skating, hockey, nordic combined, short track, ski jumping, mountaineering ski, ski orienteering, snowboard, , snow running, snow volley and speed skating.
