Description

Yes indeed, the first to open and the last to close: that’s the ski area Pontedilegno -Tonale boasting slopes at considerable altitudes: the highest point is located at 3,000 metres at Passo Presena at the top of the glacier with the same name. The piste are all connected by a 100 km carousel spread over four levels corresponding with an equal number of ski areas, each with its very own characteristics and with very different panorama: Temù, Ponte di Legno, Passo Tonale, and the Presena glacier.
Other than skiing, the area serves up any number of alternatives for lovers of snow and the mountains: ski mountaineering, freeride, dog sledding, snowkite, plus of course all the more traditional outdoor pursuits like ice skating and snow racquets with atmospheric itineraries allowing you to relax along snow-covered landscapes, far from any traffic and stress-free. And of course to appreciate the silence and savour an intimate contact between man and nature that only the mountains can provide.
