Description

The ski area of Bormio, located at the very heart of the Stelvio National Park, is recognised by mountain enthusiasts for its legendary slopes, outdoor activities in intimate contact with nature, the ancient thermal springs accessible the whole year round, but also for the beauty and attractions of the historic centre characterised by churches, ancient mansions and museums.

During winter, Bormio offers sports fans Alpine, Nordic and snowboard opportunities along more than 180 km of slopes whilst in summertime mountain bike and racing bike aficionados can try their luck on tracks immersed in nature as well as on some of the most celebrated climbs such as the Stelvio Pass and the Mortirolo. The territory regularly hosts international sporting events thanks to the presence of two world-class ski piste. At Bormio the Stelvio slope, known as the Teatro della Scala for skiing, and at Santa Caterina Valfurva, the Deborah Compagnoni piste dedicated to the great champion.
