Disciplines
– Slalom: slalom is another of the technical disciplines of alpine skiing. During the race the skiers pass through very tight gates, arranged on a track that includes curves with a strict radius.
– Giant Slalom: not as speedy and more technical than Super-G, the giant slalom is one of the many disciplines of alpine skiing. Skiers are required to pass through a series of gates arranged on a slope with curves of greater radius with respect to the special. There are two heats.
– Super G: the super giant is a speciality of alpine skiing that combines the high speed of the downhill with the more technical curves of the giant slalom. Only one heat is envisaged to record the fastest time.
Categories & classes
Masters competitors must have reached their 30th birthday by December 31st of the year prior to the competition
to be permitted to take part in the WWMG. The age at this date further defines the athletes age category.

In the next edition of World Winter Master Games Lombardia 2024, will participate thousands of athletes coming from all over the world. Several sport disciplines in which over thirty will compete in exciting challenges: alpine ski, biathlon, cross country ski, curling, figure skating, hockey, nordic combined, short track, ski jumping, mountaineering ski, ski orienteering, snowboard, , snow running, snow volley and speed skating.
