Description

A delightful village situated on the 2 banks of the Noce torrent in upper Val di Sole, Pellizzano has an altitude of 925 metres. The historic centre is full of glimpses evoking old legends and ancient traditions. Along its narrow cobbled lanes, every corner, courtyard or old farmhouse surprises with its simple beauty. Specially noted for disciplines such as ski jumping or nordic combined, it’s perfect for a holiday full of relaxation, sport and local cuisine. A place to enjoy with friends or family where even the smaller ones can spend days at the very heart of nature. Definitely worth a visit is the nearby and delightful Lago di Caprioli at 1280 m, just 5 km above Pellizzano. A lake awash with romance, accessible even in winter thanks to the road up to the convenient parking area of the adjacent restaurant, it’s a particularly popular destination in summertime.
